What OS and service pack are you running on both computers?
What software has been installed since access to the share was AVAILABLE?
Have you tried running System Restore on the machines to take them back to when it did work?We are both using XP OS
The story is that there is Four computer Using XP OS in workgroup CONNECTED in Lan network.
and there is a folder in one of these four shared for all of them
tow other computer can connect to the share folder but THIRD of them cant
before he could before but now it is not accessing to the share folder.
the computer that is not accessing to share folder can access to other tow computers
and the computer that contains the share folder also can access the error given computer.
i tried much but i couldnt solve this pro
Note: Dont forget that the computer which is giving the error can access to share folder if i enter as a administrator i mean that if i log on as a administrator on that pc that pc can access to share folder but the other user cant. the user also have administrative privileges.
the error given pc has the Mcafee anti virus but the other three dosent have.
i thought that the mcafee is creating problem but the amazing is that when i logged on as an administrator it accessed to share folder but as a user it couldnt
i dont know ther user also have administrative privileges
Waiting for ur reply

Nabeel DInho, PLEASE, start your own thread. We will not support two issues in the same thread, that gets confusing and is not fair to you or the OP(Original Poster).

If you want us to help you, then you will HAVE to follow the rules.Dear please help me how can i make a new thread or how can i post a my problem independently
In the Forum, before you select a thread there is a button at the top that says 'New Topic', click on that and FILL out the subject line as well.

You need to go in at the top of the forum though, where it says Windows XP.Try This:
At First Download The Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools
Windows Server 2003 Resource Kit Tools
http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=4544

after installation is complete, click on: Start, All Programs, Windows Resource Kit Tools, Command Shell

Then enter the following commands. (Attention: they are case sensitive.)

net user guest /active:yes
ntrights +r SeNetworkLogonRight -u Guest
ntrights -r SeDenyNetworkLogonRight -u Guest

The first command enables network access for Guest, the two subsequent ones change two different policies to allow network access for Guest.
