Answer» I am working on Windows Server 2003. I am simply trying to copy a file from ONE folder to ANOTHER on the same drive, but after doing the copy/paste, I open the file at the destination and all sorts of bad characters have been added to the file. What can I do to stop this from happening? WELCOME to the CH forums. More info please - If the input file was created using a word PROCESSOR then you copy/paste and open it with a non-word processor program the WP control characters will be displayed.
