Solve : HELP: A SERIOUS WINDOWS XP PROBLEM!? |
|
Answer» I have a DELL OptiPlex GX110 desktop PC, the problem is so: I'm using windows xp sp2, Task manager is inactive (highlighted in gray), you can activate it with an registry key, but I don't have access to that because it tells me that this operation is disabled by administrator (even if I'm using an administrator account on it). see here: http://www.techsupportforum.com/microsoft-support/windows-nt-2000-2003-server-2008-server/207141-registry-edit-disabled.html Good LuckI solved the problem with this procedure. I re-formated again the PC and after I installed new windows i did not used any USB stick, just gone to the internet and downloaded all of drivers needed for it. Problem was on my removable storage device (USB stick) which was infected with Trojan. Thank you for your help. Cheers. |
