Solve : Outlook Exchange Server 2003 Help??

Not the biggest Outlook buff here, this is actually the first time I've ever tried to use it. Here's my situation:

My college uses Microsoft Outlook EXCHANGE Server 2003 to provide school email access. Here is the url: http://mail.insideranken.org Is it possible to CONFIGURE my home computer and my laptop, both running Office XP, to sync with my school email? If so, what information would I need from my admin, if any, and how would I configure it?

  • account name
  • password
  • POP or IMAPI server
  • In case of a POP connection: SMTP adress
  • What ports POP/SMTP or IMAPI use (Unless they use the default ports in case of a non-secured connection

If you want to connect to the Exchange features from your home PC, I think you'll need to set up a VPN connection to your COMPANY's LAN first.Thanks, I'll try to get that info from my IT department. I'll re-post if I need anymore HELP.
