I'm trying out windows server, want to see how it all works and get some experience. One thing I've noticed it's nothing like Windows 7, it does not automatically INSTALL everything and it doesn't seem to work with wireless.

Now I've got PRETTY much everything working from hardware except the graphics card.

I have Radeon 4650 HD and it doesn't show that the system recognizes it when I do the dxdiag. It's a 64 bit system, so I've tried the 64 bit windows 7 drivers, and it seems that it doesn't work still, but it has installed it.

So, my question is, how do I get my graphics card to work on Windows Server 2008 R2?Have you tried drivers made for Server 2008 ? ?
I believe thats what you will need to get the card working right.What is not working graphics wise?  If it is the lack of Aero - That has to be enabled first.

However please note that enabling aero.etc will cause extra overhead.I know that some Vista drivers will work in Win7 and vice-versa...

However i do not think this applies to any Windows Server products...Server 2008 R2 works REALLY well in a virtualized environment.
