|
Answer» I have Windows Xp Pro sevice pack 3. <HTML>Other pages work as they should. If I go to Windows update using Firefox, I get page saying I should IE 7... I am not sure but I think that I get automatical updates normally. I have tried to add Windows update to trusted site but it didn't help. What should I do to fix it?I'd install the JRE ( Java Runtime Environment ) from http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp ( sun microsystems ). Your system may be lacking java script support.Java works in my Firefox, but should try intalling it anyway? Quote To view and download updates for your computer, Windows Update should be listed as a Trusted Site in Internet Explorer.To add Windows Update to the trusted sites zone:I have them as trusted, but it didn't help. I also NOTICED someting: If I go to Windows update with Firefox having User Agent Switcher on ( It makes my browser say that it is IE 7) i get same white empty page. But if I have User Agent Switcher off, i get normal page saying that I should use IE 7.Do you have ActiveX set like this: Where can I find those? Somewhere in IE:s settings?Tools>Internet Options>Security tab>Custom level button. I have it like this.Download HijackThis: http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/tools/security_tools/hijackthis/download Click on Download HijackThis Installer Post HijackTHis log.Logfile of Trend Micro HijackThis v2.0.2 Scan saved at 16:59:53, on 26.10.2008 Platform: Windows XP SP3 (WinNT 5.01.2600) MSIE: Internet Explorer v7.00 (7.00.6000.16735) Boot mode: Normal Running processes: C:\WINDOWS\System32\smss.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\winlogon.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\lsass.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\WINDOWS\System32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware\aawservice.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\spoolsv.exe C:\Program Files\F-Secure\Anti-Virus\fsgk32st.exe C:\Program Files\F-Secure\Common\FSMA32.EXE C:\Program Files\F-Secure\Anti-Virus\FSGK32.EXE C:\Program Files\F-Secure\Common\FSMB32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\nvsvc32.exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\svchost.exe C:\Program Files\F-Secure\Common\FCH32.EXE C:\Program Files\F-Secure\Common\FAMEH32.EXE C:\Program Files\F-Secure\Anti-Virus\fsqh.exe C:\WINDOWS\Explorer.EXE C:\Program Files\F-Secure\FSAUA\program\fsaua.exe C:\Program Files\F-Secure\FWES\Program\fsdfwd.exe C:\Program Files\F-Secure\Anti-Virus\fssm32.exe C:\Program Files\F-Secure\Common\FSM32.EXE C:\Program Files\NetMeter\NetMeter.exe C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\MsnMsgr.Exe C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPoint\SetPoint.exe C:\Program Files\[email protected]\winFAH.exe C:\Documents and Settings\Sam\Käynnistä-valikko\Ohjelmat\Käynnistys \Uptime.exe C:\Program Files\Xfire\xfire.exe C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logishrd\KHAL2\KHALMNPR.EXE C:\Program Files\F-Secure\Anti-Virus\fsav32.exe C:\Program Files\F-Secure\FSGUI\fsguidll.exe C:\Program Files\[email protected]\FahCore_82.exe C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe C:\Program Files\Winamp\winamp.exe C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://www.google.fi R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=69157 R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896 R1 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Search Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=54896 R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Start Page = http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=69157 R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Toolbar,LinksFolderName = Linkit O2 - BHO: Adobe PDF Reader -linkkiavustaja - {06849E9F-C8D7-4D59-B87D-784B7D6BE0B3} - C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Acrobat\ActiveX\AcroIEHelper.dll O2 - BHO: QFX Software KeyScrambler - {2B9F5787-88A5-4945-90E7-C4B18563BC5E} - C:\Program Files\KeyScrambler\KeyScramblerIE.dll O2 - BHO: SSVHelper Class - {761497BB-D6F0-462C-B6EB-D4DAF1D92D43} - C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.6.0_07\bin\ssv.dll O2 - BHO: (no name) - {7E853D72-626A-48EC-A868-BA8D5E23E045} - (no file) O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [F-Secure Manager] "C:\Program Files\F-Secure\Common\FSM32.EXE" /splash O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [F-Secure TNB] "C:\Program Files\F-Secure\FSGUI\TNBUtil.exe" /CHECKALL /WAITFORSW O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Logitech Hardware Abstraction Layer] KHALMNPR.EXE O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Kernel and Hardware Abstraction Layer] KHALMNPR.EXE O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [NvCplDaemon] RUNDLL32.EXE C:\WINDOWS\system32\NvCpl.dll,NvStartup O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [C:\Program Files\NetMeter\NetMeter.exe] C:\Program Files\NetMeter\NetMeter.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MsnMsgr] "C:\Program Files\Windows Live\Messenger\MsnMsgr.Exe" /background O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [ctfmon.exe] C:\WINDOWS\system32\ctfmon.exe O4 - HKCU\..\Run: [MSMSGS] "C:\Program Files\Messenger\msmsgs.exe" /background O4 - Startup: [email protected] 5.03.lnk = ?
