Holidays

Holidays are like rain-drops on parched earth. They have a great charm for students. They provide much needed and much wanted rest and respite to a student who is tired of a hard routine and discipline of school. After long spells of hard-work at school and home, holidays come as welcome guests. They cheer up the lives of students and save them from boredom and depression. Students say goodbye to class-room lessons and homework to enjoy themselves in any way they like. Some of them plan a tour of places of historical interest.

Some like to go to watering places to enjoy a swim. Still others like to spend their time in watching T.V. and reading story-books and magazines. A few, of course, go to see science museums and exhibitions. Thus, holidays bring pleasure to the lives of students and refresh them, enabling them to take up harder tasks lying ahead.

छुट्टियाँ

छुट्टियाँ सूखी जमीन पर वर्षा की बूंदों के समान होती हैं। छात्रों के लिए वे बहुत आकर्षण रखती हैं। वे आवश्यक एवं चाहा गया आराम एवं चैन छात्रों को प्रदान करती हैं। ऐसा छात्र स्कूल की कठोर दिनचर्या एवं अनुशासन से ऊब चुका होता है। घर एवं स्कूल में कठोर परिश्रम की लम्बी अवधियों के बाद छुट्टियाँ स्वागतयोग्य मेहमानों की भाँति आती हैं। वे छात्रों के जीवन को प्रसन्नता से भर देती हैं तथा उन्हें थकान एवं निराशा से बचाती हैं। छात्र कक्षा के अध्ययन तथा गृहकार्य को अलविदा कह देते हैं तथा स्वयं को अपने इच्छित तरीके से मनोरंजन करते हैं।

कुछ छात्र ऐतिहासिक स्थानों के भ्रमण की योजना बनाते हैं। अन्य पानी के स्थानों पर जाकर तैरने का आनन्द लेते हैं। अन्य छात्र टी.वी. देखकर तथा कहानियों की पुस्तकें पढ़कर अपना समय गुजारना पसंद करते हैं। कुछ अन्य छात्र विज्ञान-संग्रहालय तथा प्रदर्शिनियों से अपना मन बहलाना पसंद करते हैं। इस प्रकार छुट्टियाँ छात्रों के जीवन में आनन्द लेकर आती हैं तथा उन्हें तरोताजा बनाती हैं ताकि वे आने वाले और भी कठिन कार्यों को कर सकें।
