Solve : Viewing a new server in a different domain.? |
Answer» <html><body><p>The company I work for has two domains (say, x &<a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/amp-363144" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about AMP">AMP</a>; y). I have built a new server using Windows Server 2003 R2 and installed it on domain y. I checked and I can access it ok through a logon in domain y.<br/><br/>Our users log on in domain x. I logged on in domain x and tried to access this new server. I could see the server but when I tried to open it I got the following message: -<br/><br/>\\Y-SVR4 is not accessible<br/><br/>There are currectly no logon servers available to service the logon request.<br/><br/>Other servers on the y domain are accessible from the x domain.<br/><br/>Has anyone got any ideas?<br/><br/>ThanksI have just done just experimenting and found that I can see both domains from the new server. This probably means that there is something I've <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/missed-561686" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about MISSED">MISSED</a> out when <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/building-244388" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about BUILDING">BUILDING</a> this server. I can't think what though!<br/><br/>Any ideas.</p></body></html> | |
