Solve : Downgrade from XP Professional to Windows 98 2nd?

Answer» <html><body><p>I have an old computer with 160 MB of physical memory and 546 MB of virtual memory.  I believe I made a mistake of <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/upgrading-1440178" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about UPGRADING">UPGRADING</a> to XP Professional from 98 2nd edition.  LOLZ  I don't really care about losing data if I have to reformat my <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/drive-959713" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DRIVE">DRIVE</a> I just want as much memory available as possible.  When I insert my Windows 98 cd on boot up my computer just boots up.  How do I revert back to 98?If you don't care about losing data, then feel free to format. But I'd still back up any documents you <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/need-25476" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about NEED">NEED</a> first.<br/><br/>Anyway, after you're ready to install 98, go into Setup/BIOS and <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/set-11758" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about SET">SET</a> the boot <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/order-238912" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ORDER">ORDER</a> to boot from the CD first. You should be able to install from there.<br/><br/>Good luck 8-)Thanks!  I forgot to change my boot order so it can boot from the cd.  Duh!No problem.</p></body></html>
