Solve : Floppy drive problem after Win98 reinstall? |
Answer» <html><body><p>I just reinstalled Win98 on a formatted disk. All <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/went-734459" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WENT">WENT</a> well except my "A" floppy drive does not work. "My Computer" <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/shows-1206590" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about SHOWS">SHOWS</a> an A and B drive. I found that the B floppy works. My BIOS shows only an A drive installed.<br/>How do I get my A drive back? Did you remember to re-install the MBoard <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/drivers-21170" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DRIVERS">DRIVERS</a> ? ?<br/>What happens when you try the floppy drive ?<br/>Any error messages involved ? ?<br/>Drivers installed, Actually, screen <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/freezes-999804" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about FREEZES">FREEZES</a> if I click on the A drive. The B drive, which I shouldn't have, works just fine. A: and B: are standard on any machine...<br/>Please restate what you have done and what is not working properly...<br/>Some info on the machine in question would be helpful also...Did you do something inside the case? It looks like power cord is not <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/connected-929389" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about CONNECTED">CONNECTED</a> to your floppy.Quote from: Adario on February 01, 2008, 07:51:33 AM</p><blockquote>Did you do something inside the case?
