Answer» <html><body><p>Currently have an older PIII with a licensed Win98SE <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/os-25550" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about OS">OS</a> at the cottage. The unit does not have a modem and no access to <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/internet-14325" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about INTERNET">INTERNET</a>. I may have accidently blown out one of the updates, downloaded at a time we still had the internet. If I can get access to the internet with another WinXP unit, could I download Win98 updates? or doe I need a Win 98SE unit? Equally important, how do you <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/instal-7689115" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about INSTAL">INSTAL</a> them. Windows has a subdirectory in \windows called \updates. Do you just overwrite those and reboot?<br/>Thanks for your help.I'm <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/inclined-1039882" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about INCLINED">INCLINED</a> to say, don't worry about it. <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/since-644476" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about SINCE">SINCE</a> many MS updates are security related and you don't use that computer on the Internet, why bother with the updates?
