Hello, may I offer a practical solution.
If you bought a retail PC with Windows ME., then now is a good time to just replace it all together.
You can buy a brand-new computer now at a fraction of what you paid for your original machine. You will get a new operating system, maybe a Vista or Windows 7. And the cost is only a little more than what you would pay for a legal copy of windows XP and maybe a new piece of hardware like a video card.

Or, if you're on a TIGHT budget, by re furbish XP desktop computer for less than what you would pay for legal copy of windows XP. And you'll have a computer that out performs your old windows ME clunk that you bought several years ago.Just to let you know Patio that I don't deal in illegal activities and I'm certinally not a pirate.I just ask a simple question on here, and if you don't have a nice answer, then don't answer at all. Thanks Geek for your help,as you have been helpful and may I say that you're nice with your answers.Patio should go back to bed and get up again, maybe he wouild be in a better mood.
Thanks Geek.Patio is just doing his job - and doing it well, at that.

And regardless of your claims to the contrary, there is NO legal download of any version of Windows available for free on the web.

| |
