Back up all of your important data first.<br/><br/>Remove all peripherals apart from the mouse, keyboard and monitor.<br/><br/>Insert your Win98 cd and floppy if it requies one then reboot your system. It should start the installation process automatically.<br/><br/>Was your XP system using the NTFS file system? How can I find out?<br/><br/>Going back to Win 98 - there are certain programs that won't work with XP but do with 98 and there's one I need to use.<br/><br/>I don't think this PC ever had Win 98. This will erase all your data are you sure? ? choose Y and hit enter.<br/>Re-boot the same <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/way-246442" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WAY">WAY</a>. Watch the boot screen it will tell you which drive is your CDRom.
