When I turn it on, the <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/win98-7333872" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WIN98">WIN98</a> logo flashes on for a second, then the <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/screen-25632" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about SCREEN">SCREEN</a> goes black, with the C:\><br/>prompt.<br/>Is WIN98 installed?<br/>If so, how do I get it started?<br/>If I need to reinstall, can someone suggest a link on "how to".<br/>Thanks.If you got this system used then regardless of what OS is on it, you'll want to format and start fresh. Try this:<br/><br/>At the command prompt (that is the C:\> prompt) type:<br/><br/>WIN<br/><br/>then <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/press-605361" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about PRESS">PRESS</a> Enter.<br/><br/>That should start Windows 98.<br/><br/>If you need help editing MSDOS.SYS to boot to Windows 98 instead of DOS, let me know.<br/><br/>Regards,<br/>Doc</p></body></html> | |
