Solve : Read Only Word File? |
Answer» <html><body><p>I am using Windows 98SE and Office 2000 on this computer. Problems developed with Office 2000 on this computer so I <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/copied-2017628" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about COPIED">COPIED</a> the Word .doc to anther computer with Windows 98SE and Office 2000. This file opens as <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/read-619994" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about READ">READ</a> Only so I cannot edit it. What should I do?<a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/check-25817" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about CHECK">CHECK</a> *.doc file's read only attribuets from property of the file. Uncheck if checked.<br/><br/>Or you can save the file with a different name using save as command from word and after that deleting read only .doc file.<br/> Thanks very much. The properties of the Word file had the erad only box checked but I had to use Explorer to un check the box. I can now <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/get-11812" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about GET">GET</a> back to the editing, thanks to you.</p></body></html> | |
