Answer» Hello! I am new to this forum and I have a question. I got an old 80gb IDE hdd from a DELL dimension 3000. Got it all plugged in with the slave part of the cable and it SHOWED the no. 5 option in FDISK but it wont SHOW up in "my computer". What am I doing wrong?Is the power connector inserted? Did you set the JUMPERS on the disk properly? Is the disk formatted? |
