Solve : black screen and keeps rebooting?

When I turn on my COMPUTER (A Compaq Laptop) all the lights come on and the screen stays black and after a min or so lights go off and back on if you put the computer up to your ear you can hear BEEPS, the FAN does runmore INFO , model # , any info thats written on it . more than one beep means something is wrong and we just need to learn the language {computers have many different beep codes depending on MAKE and model and most importantly the make of the bios}Quote from: kbit on November 28, 2011, 10:01:44 PM

If he has to hold it up to his ear to hear the "beeps", it's not a beep code.
