Solve : c:\set path=c:\qtw?

Answer»

i feel i'm gettin close....(probably a wrong feeling...)

anyways, that's the message i get after startup aborts. i get to see the windows 98 splash screen/logo for about a half a SECOND, then the C:\ prompt appears and i see the above message.

any help or idea? what is qtw?

-thanks in advance...post the contents of the FILE c:\autoexec.bat; sounds like (maybe) someobody has been trying to install a certain kind of game (a "Myst" game) and it has screwed up a setting, but I may be wrong.

I seem to REMEMBER that being the install dir. in older Win versions...Quote from: patio on February 03, 2011, 05:45:47 AM

I believe I was mistaken and you were right... Myst games (as well as a lot of other different software apps) used QTW and therefore installed it if it was not already there.
