Solve : downgrading to Windows 98? |
|
Answer» the problem is I have already upgraded to XP so that is probably why it is running so SLOW. I did that a couple years ago actually. it has gotten worse as the days go by. how hard will it be for me to open the PCU and drop in more RAM? I have two slots, one which will hold another 126 and another that will hold 256. I ran CRUCIAL.com on it. No WORRIES, just want to know what we're dealing with before we give advice. You'd want to get at least a total of 512MBbut that crucial site said I could only get 128 for one and 256 for the other Quote from: quaxo on April 09, 2009, 10:08:19 AM You'd want to get at least a total of 512MBCrucial is not always 100% correct. Do you know the make and model of the motherboard?how do I find that info? in the system file? Quote from: quaxo on April 09, 2009, 11:31:06 AM Crucial is not always 100% correct.
