Answer» When I try to install Microsoft Scholastic's The MAGIC School Bus Explores the Solar System on my Windows 3.11 computer it GIVES me the error message, "File COPY operation failed - incorrect number of bytes written to disk - source file or destination disk may be corrupted - use ChkDsk " in the middle of the installation. Why? I have a theory that the disc is scratched so it cannot read. But I am not sure. Can someone help me? P.S.-my computer is an Intel INSIDE 486DX-66. You may want to try cleaning the CD to see if it is just not dirty. Otherwise I'd suggest trying a CD polish / disc repair kit that can be FOUND at any computer retail store and try repairing the disc.
