Insert Windows Disk #4 from the copy that you have obviously OBTAINED through legal means.i don't have the floppies i have the cd of win 3.1Quote from: comda on August 01, 2010, 10:43:49 AM

There is no CD of Windows 3.1. Therefore you must be in possession of an unlicensed copy. You are a bad person. MAKE sure your pets know this.I wonder if comda is ALSO the guy (with a post count of 1) who has the files of the MS-DOS 6.22 floppy disk set "on a CD"?

So that makes it legal, does it?

if it came from compaq yes.Quote from: comda on August 01, 2010, 11:48:45 AM
if it came from compaq yes.

It it an official Compaq disk? If so, it's probably a recovery disk.

no it saws the win 3.1 and the cd is green and it says "for DISTRIBUTION only with a new pc"
then under
"for pcs without windows"so can i get a hand? You need to edit c:\config.sys and c:\autoexec.bat on your hard drive to load an MS-DOS CD-ROM driver. Plenty of Windows 3.1 FAQ websites will tell you how to do this.

ok but I still would like to know how to put an iso on a floppy just for future refrance Quote from: comda on August 02, 2010, 07:08:13 PM
