Solve : lost windows 98 help? |

Answer» HELP PLEASE!!!!!!!!!! my neice had windows 98 loaded....someone down loaded windows xp...it now has turned her screen all BLUE...can she retrieve 98? :-?SOmeone snuck up to her machine and downloaded a new operating system for it? Time to backup, format and reinstall. If you have never done this take it to a shop.Whats wrong with XP, you can use this just as well. We don't know if they installed it for a good reason, if it was a LEGAL or infected CD copy, or if the hardware requirements would even be sufficient to run it. All of this BESIDES loading it on top of Win98 it sounds like. Not a good idea.And the fact that noone knows who installed it is something I find very DISTURBING. |
