Solve : Recycle Bin?

Answer»

When I delete a file, a FOLDER, .rar, vid, MP3 ect. It auto deletes INSTEAD of sending to recycle bin. It's annoying if I delete SOMETHING I did not mean to delete.

My recycle bin setting is:

Use one setting for all drives. Checked

Do not move move files to recycle bin.
Remove file immediately when deleted. Unchecked.

Maximum size of recycle bin (percent of each drive) 25%

Any solutions? Is capslock or numlock on ? ?Quote from: patio on August 19, 2009, 05:12:13 PM

Yes it does...try it and see,

I just tried it, no change. However, if that's an older hardware set, your CAPS LOCK might actually be a SHIFT LOCK.Whatever...Wait a second:

Did you already use this 25% quota? Do you have any programs which modify the function of the Recycling Bin? I have Norton Protected Recycling Bin, which will put some files under Norton protection, and by default opens to the Norton protected files.
