Solve : W-98, Notebook Troubles...?

Answer»

Windows 98 does not have a restore option. That should be a short read.

The BIOS setup should be accessed by pressing F10 when the machine starts, before the Windows logo. Once there look in "boot options".

That would be great but I have to be in the safe mode to have a curser I'll try it and let you know.

JpArrow KEYS and enter will be all you need to make the changes.

http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/fastFaqLiteDocument?lc=en&cc=us&product=212728&dlc=en&docname=c00364979OK I'm at that page PhoenixBIOS Set Up Utility, and it seems I dont need a

curser.

What would you like me to do?

JpWhat is the boot order listed? Can you SEE how to change it?I could revert to the previous system, can't I are there back up system on the hard drive ?

JpGX1_Man,

Yes, it is;
1. Diskette Drive
2.[ATAPI CD-ROM Drive]
3. [Hard Drive]

Yes I see how to change.

I am beginning to SUSPECT it is possible the video Display has been corrupted.

Also, I can only DEPEND on curser in the Safe Mode, there is a hazard running in this mode.
