Answer» I typed in scandisk C: on the A: it said bad FILE name or command... when i try to run fdisk to format my primary hard drive partition, it askes me for the volume label, but its all in symbols and wierd charactors... I looked up alt codes and found all the symbols but it still said that the volume label doesnt match... This might explain fdisk a bit better: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LKIzI_aQo60The Volume label has gotten scrambled because that drive is having ISSUES...better off to start with a new drive and a clean install. You can then hook up the old one as a slave drive to try and get your data back...Alright, thats what I was starting to think.... thanks for all your help. Time to save up for a new drive |
