Answer» I've been rebuilding my daughter's computer and thought I was DONE, but I noticed that whenever I launch a new window, the only opnes that show up on the taskbar are IE and Firefox windows. NOTHING else seems to cause a tab to be created on the taskbar (not even standard Windows programs like Window Explorer, System tools, etc.) Just for the heck of it, I started the system up in Safe mode and everything seems to function normally there.
