Answer» :-/When The windows 98 Computer is on for about 5 or 10 minutes, it all of a sudden turns into a all black screen with these red LINES going ACROSS the screen. This PC doesn't have any music programs(like Kazaa) and has never had them. It is a pretty Old tower with a turbo Button on it. It has Virus and no adware protection, plus spy Blaster. Does anyone out there know what this is? Is this a Virus? HELP---S.O.S. ASAP. You say it has 'virus' are you SAYING it has a virus scanner or is it infected? Even though you have no Kazaa, viruses may still be present. Scan for viruses, SPYWARE and trojans. what ram have you got....what does dxdiag in the run box report...it may tell you to upgrade your graphics drivers...
