Solve : windows 98, uninstall/install,safe mode? |

Answer» I cleaned up my files and now I boot into safe mode alla the time, and get a message that a system file is missing, and need to reload it, but don't know how or where I can do this, and tried to uninstall windows 98. and REINSTALL, but my cd rom driver is disabled in safe mode, and don't know what to do, thanks for help....INFO>http://www.newlogic.co.uk/tips.htmSusan, go to the website "PC World.com" and look for a thing called the Ultimate Boot Disk. You can do this from a friends computer. Shut the computer down, place the floppy in the DRIVE, and re-boot. Your CD will have basic drivers needed to operate, and you can re-install windows. You will need video drivers and several other drivers if you don't have the CD's for them you MAY FIND them at DriverGuide.com |
