1.	Solve : Windows '98 won't shut down?
Answer» Need help in shutting down my computer. I have windows 1998. Everytime I go to shut down it gives me a message that the program is not responding. I have to "End Task" then it gives me the windows screen but does not want to shut down the computer. I have to pull out the BATTERY pack and unplug the computer. P.S. this is a LAPTOP computer. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.What is the task name?To Kablam, Thanks for replying so quickly.....I'm not very well versed in computers. Could you tell me what you mean by the task name?Joshe: I think Kablam is asking if the error message gives the name of the program that is not shutting down.
