Solve : Win98/Vista networking?

Answer» <html><body><p>I'm trying to <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/get-11812" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about GET">GET</a> a windows 98 machine to <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/access-846773" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ACCESS">ACCESS</a> shared <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/drives-959782" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about DRIVES">DRIVES</a> on my new Vista machine on my home network but am having no luck. I got the XP machine to access Vista by creating and <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/id-251286" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ID">ID</a>/pwd the same on Vista and XP. I did the same on Win98 but even with the ID having the same password as it does on Vista, when I click on the Vista machine in Network Neighbourhood, it only asks for a password (doesn't let me enter an ID), and no matter what password I <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/type-238192" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about TYPE">TYPE</a> in for the IDs I have on the Vista machine it says invalid.<br/><br/>Any way to get a win98 machine to access shared drives on a Vista?<br/><br/></p></body></html>
