Solve : Windows 98 SE internet problems?

Unfortunately when i enterned the Windows 98 SE setup the computer told me that i have a opperating system and if i wanted to upgrade to SE i need to <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/obtain-582970" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about OBTAIN">OBTAIN</a> the windows 98 upgrade CD and the computer exits the setup.  So i formated the hard disk drive and installed win 98 Se. every thing worked <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/fine-248571" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about FINE">FINE</a> but when i started on the internet, i logged on Msn then clicked hotmail link and this message popped up,<br/><br/>THis program has performed <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/illegal-504452" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ILLEGAL">ILLEGAL</a> operation and will be shut down.<br/><br/>If this problem persists, contact the program vendor.<br/><br/>So i deleted dos partition, made new dos partition installed win 98 se and this problem still exists.
