Solve : Windows 98 sizing problem? |
Answer» <html><body><p>I'm running <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/win-732367" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about WIN">WIN</a> 98 on this old computer I picked up. For some reason, the pictures are oversized and really messed up. They appear very broken and pixelated. I was wondering if I could do a system restore. The problem began this morning. When I tried installing my modem the screen said "click next", but the button was off the screen and I couldn't reach it. So, if anyone knows how to fix this or do a system restore/ restore default settings, <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/please-601513" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about PLEASE">PLEASE</a> respond. Thank you.Sounds like you (or something) has changed the screen resoultion. Right click a blank <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/area-13372" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about AREA">AREA</a> on the screen and select properties. In the dialog box select the settings tab. Increase the the screen <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/resolution-16231" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about RESOLUTION">RESOLUTION</a> and click apply. If you increase it to a resolution that can't be used on your machine, you will see a screwed up screen or a blank screen. If this happens, press escape <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/key-11608" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about KEY">KEY</a> and try a different setting. I suggest starting at 1024x768. If it works, leave it. Quote</p><blockquote>Sounds like you (or something) has changed the screen resoultion.
