Solve : Windows 98se volume prob.?

Answer» <html><body><p>I'm not sure how long it's been gone, but it's been awhile.  The little volume icon, that is usually next to the clock disappeared awhile back, and I can seem to <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/get-11812" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about GET">GET</a> it to come back.  I tried to uninstall, and reinstall it from control panel\add-remove\setup, and it didn't do any good.  I can adjust the volume settings from multi meadia in the control panel, but that's it.You may need to reinstall your soundcard drivers. <br/><br/>Is your audio still fully functioning?Sorry,   duh, I just <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/figured-7681243" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about FIGURED">FIGURED</a> it out.  I just needed to put a <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/check-25817" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about CHECK">CHECK</a> in the check box that says display volume control in <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/task-243523" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about TASK">TASK</a> bar.  Sorry to have bothered you.I had no idea you could hide that icon. Where is the option in Windows 98?Start\Settings\Control Panel\Multimedia, then just above the OK, CANCEL, and APPLY buttons, to the left there are two check <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/boxes-401375" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about BOXES">BOXES</a>.  It's the bottom check box.Cheers. I hope I can remember, no Windows 98 computer connected at the time of this writing.</p></body></html>
