I have tried unsuccessfully for MONTHS to try and delete this program. I have tried standard Uninstall; IObit Uninstaller; and tried using the Avira Registry Cleaner. Sooo frustrating!! Any help or suggestions to remove this program will be appreciated.They have a Removal tool...USE it.Easier said than done, since the utility is at best difficult to find.

I opened my laptop this morning and Avira ANTIVIRUS did not show up in my Control Panel - Programs. I then restarted my laptop, and it appears Avira Antivirus is gone! THANK GOODNESS. What an insidious product! I went to the Avira support page and ended up by following the steps to "Removing Avira Antivirus in Windows 10 Manually". A SOMEWHAT complicated procedure, but hopefully it has finally worked.

Hey guys, I recently finished building my pc. The only problem I've had is that when I plug my ps4 controller into my pc to play fortnite, my whole pc lags. Around every 5-10 minutes, my discord and fortnite lag. This LASTS for about 10 seconds and then it's back to normal. When this happens my pc doesn't recognize my ps4 controller. When this happens, Fortnite drops from 300 FRAMES to around 20. My friends in discord say my voice also lags. One of my friends has my EXACT same build and he also gets this problem. After being away for a month, I ran Windows update, which had a lot to install. On restart, it does not FIND USER profiles. I connect (somehow) to what looks almost LIKE a new machine: INSTALLED APPS are present and run, and data files exist on my data drive, but all personalization seems nuked. What's going on? We receive from our CLIENTS, thousands of Excel.csv files. Because of the the processes we RUN them through we NEED to open each file and manually delete line 3 from each file. It is very time intensive. What we do after we delete the 3rd line we resave the file in the same folder with a 2_ prefix to the file name. Is there any way to batch process these files to do this automatically? Appreciate any help anyone can give me. This is a very similar question to yours, with example code. The only change you would need to make, is to have the program write to a different filename, rather than the original.

I've had a hackintosh for about 10 years now and for some REASON the USB keyboard has been giving me trouble. I thought it was the MB, so I installed Windows 7 for the same MB that was running macOS. The USB mouse is giving me trouble (cutting in and out).

Someone suggested to use the other USB set (the board has 2 USB BANKS), and ALSO suggested that I try the PS/2 PORTS for the mouse/keyboard.

Q. Does the PS/2 ports work on a different channel than the USB does so that if my USB doesn't work under macOS, then maybe the PS/2 will?

And perhaps if all else fails try administrator command prompt, sfc /scannow
This will check the windows system files and repair any damaged files.I have the same error on my Mac. The fix is to install an old version of Word and do it again. You can also use online service to convert word to pdf, which is not hard to find.

Which report writing software would you suggest which can create a report by pulling from a CSV file as the source. Calculations would have to be made such as totals etc.. I not able to watch recorded lectures on Adobe Connect. Other people are able to do so, however.

I have tried everything on Adobe's website to solve this issue. I have also tried uninstalling the applications and re-installing them. I reset the laptop this morning, but to no avail. This is a new computer, which got delivered 3 days ago.

My exams will be over by Dec 11. I have 44 days to watch the lectures, study and appear for assignments. I had taken two days' leave from work to catch up on my studies. Those days have been wasted TRYING to open a single lecture.

I would be very grateful, if SOMEONE COULD help me in sorting this out.

I have had a look thru the report. First thing to try is installing and RUNNING Adobe Connect with Mcaffee Antivirus turned off.

I suspect the Mcafee firewall could be blocking access to the Adobe connect content.

If it fixes it then you could use the windows firewall and Defender as security until your lectures are finished. If you do want to go this root then uninstall Mcafee selecting the option you want to re install later.

i googled it all and it mostly seems automated with software and all u gotta do is punch in watevr u want and WRAP it all up in 1 package but, wat i'm wanting to do seems more "manual"

iexpress seems to b just a click/run/extract/done type deal and other software i've seen i can only assume trials/free ver or pay for full capabilities, howevr, i don't doubt they are capable of MAKING legit setup.exe's; i just doubt if they have the level of customization i'm LOOKING for.

anyway, the point is, i want to create a setup.exe that'll call from .bin files from disc 1-3 (or .bin files 1-3) in order and install components from them without any prompts saying "enter disc 2" etc.

if ther's any programming software i need or well-known setup.exe builder, lmk and i'll figure it out from ther with googling and watnot, any other tidbitz of info that'll point me in the right direction is appreciated as well.

Hi, I need help with Outlook shared contact. Hope you guys can GIVE me an idea how to RESOLVE the issue we are facing.

So I am sharing distribution lists to my team so whenever I am GONE, they can send emails to those groups. The way we do it is to press “to:” and the address book will APPEAR but we can’t find the shared distribution list in the Address Book.


Then we FOUND out that we are not able to add the shared contacts to Address Book as the Address Book tab in the shared contacts properties is not there.

Can anyone help me with this as I am desperately trying to resolve this issue for weeks now. Any workaround will be a big help. Thanks!!

When I start my pc and login it takes about 1min 20sec for most of programs to become responsive. LASTLY the SSD will benefit you also by speeding up your computers ability to read and write from memory for the paging/virtual memory so the systems performance overall will act like a fresh new computer as long as the main board and video card or internal GPU are healthy.

Recently I got into the whole 60fps soap opera experience, its great when watching documentaries!

So I installed SVP, it works, but the cpu load is crazy while my GPU is doing practically no work (this is already CONFIGURED to use the GPU to ASSIST) unless you turn the effect all the way down which makes it potato quality and artifacts everywhere.

I tried with Splash player which does a much better job at offloading all the workload to GPU, now my CPU ISNT working like crazy while GPU is only working at 30%ish, so everything seems to be great. However Splash player itself is a pretty crappy player on its own, you cant even rebind the keyboard SHORTCUTS ffs.... plus the frame interpolation from splash player is honestly not that good, still a good amount of artifacts even if i crank everything to max......

Is there any alternative? PREFERABLY something utilizing my GPU instead of working everything off of CPU.

I have nvidia gpu so amd fluid motion is not an option unfortunately.

On my computer I have many unknown small files that I never installed. I tried to DELETE a few but they WOULD not delete. I am no idea what to do with them. It would be nice to show a file extension....When I tried to delete these files they acted like they were deleting but they REMAINED on my drive. I managed to get Admin rights and then I did delete some but when I rebooted it took forever so I recovered them.

I finally got my system to Multi-Boot and loaded the Win10 and it's Key codes without any errors reporting. However, the 10 page document that MS provide with the MS USB that I've read twice talks about loading an MS Tool to get new tools on my system. As that hasn't happened this may now be my problem, for some reason I did not see anything linking to Microsoft while their USB was doing it's update. Anyone who's gone through a similar problem installing Windows 10 please let me know.

My major problem now is it won't connect to my older USB modem now or my new USB modem which is only 1 month old. I also cant't Chat to Microsoft.
I tried everything and kept getting Not connected to any networks and saw that a dozen times. I tried Wi-Fi connection and it wanted ISP info that I couldn't provide before failing.
I tried Dial-up and it wants User name, Password and stuff the ISP never gave me but it claims they did.

I also can't get their online Help info because it can't connect to the internet.I'm not going to go out and buy another mobile modem, that would be ridiculous.
I've wasted about 3 hours trying everything to get an Internet connection. If anyone has gone through these problems witrh Windows 10 or has some usefull suggestions I would like to hear from you.
I'm stumped now and it seems like my previous Windows 7 wasn't so bad after all, except I never had a backup, Unles the Windows 10 did a back-up I don't know about.

Then it's the laptop display....you can get repair quotes from a shop to see if it's worth it.

Windows 10 wants hard drive BACKUP but FAILS to schedule date & time. I'm not going to TRY to install or buy a 2nd hard drive for my Laptop. If it fails I wont be re-installing Windows 7 either, I deleted that already. Worst comes I'll re-install Windows 10 from it's USB stick. To heck with a backup.

My new problem now is trying to get my older HP printer installed into Windows 10. I have the model number which Windows can't find and HP's Web address but can't register it in Windows for some reason. I've spent several hours trying to install the HP printer and failed.

I would prefer a solution to this problem comes from someone who has resolved any printer problem installation into Windows 10. No guesses please.
Thanks, Gable. What printer ? ?...Hint ...never rely on Win drivers...they should come from HP only...It's an HP DJ1000_J110 that was on my Windows 7 Laptop PC. They were cheap so I bought 2 of them just to get the ink cartridges. After much messing around trying to install it into Windows 10 and failing I now know that it won't install on any system newer than Vista. So, I'm GIVING up on that approach.

If I really need to print something I can copy it to one of my USB sticks and move it to my Windows XP desktop PC and print it from there.

My next move will be to contact HP's www.hp.cpm and get a version downloaded from them that will run on Windows 10.
That's all for this problem now, so bye until my next Win 10 problem, I'm sure to have some.

I just wasted another 6 hours of it failing to get it to be recognized by Windows 10 even though the CD that contains the HP software was up and running.
After deleting my free AVG virus detecting software and according to Microsoft Edge software it should detect any viruses every week or so, which is what I thought might have infected my Windows 10. But, that's not the case.
I have come to the conclusion that I will only use my older HP printer on my Windows XP computer and if need be copy files from the Win10 to the Win XP for printing using by USB sticks.
So my next step will be to see if I can purchase a small cheap printer from Walmart that will be recognized by Win 10. That's where I bought my 2 HP printers from, one is my backup in case the other one dies. Maybe, there will be an Xmas sale on. Thanks for any help, bye for now.

OS corrupted on disk. Tried usb (MS creation tool) install and 0x8007025D ERROR. Tried diskpart and cleaned the disk being used and convert mbr used also. Still GETTING 0x8007025D error.

Anyone any clues/answers for this?

He explains that it can be a media issue. Example: You install from a CD and part of the CD is bad, you will get that error message.

I had a "DELL" computer running "windows 7". I used a "passport" external hard drive to make a copy of this computer. I then unplugged the "passport" and put it away. That computer died. I, now, have an "HP" running "windows 10". When I plug in the "passport", it asks me if I want to format it. I know this erases it. I want to download what is on the "passport" onto this computer. Your WD passport drive should not need any additional software other than windows to gain access to the information on the drive.

Are you using the cable which came with the drive not a extra long cable and they work most reliably if you connect them to a blue usb port.

I would check in windows Device manager that there is no problems with the USB ports exclamation marks here is how to access device manager

If all that checks out you may have put a security password on the drive to check this you will need the software for your passport drive WD Drive Utilities and WD Security this software is available from here https://support-en.wd.com/app/products/product-detail/p/250#WD_downloads

If you used the WD backup program you will need the software from that site called WD Backup to access the backup.
WD also use Acronis for complete drive backups which is also available on the site above.

PLEASE DON"T FORMAT THE DRIVE yes it will loose your DATA

Just got a new pc, everything was running great until last night, I was downloading a few games, and my Discord crashed, when I tried to reopen was saying it can't update, than repeatedly failed to retry. Whatever the last game or program was that you updated that caused the crash check to see if others had any ISSUES with that software or game running on ( assuming Windows 10 ). *If no issues found like yours with Windows 10, then try this software or game again and see if you end up with same results. If you do, then use pendrive again to set it back to factory and you can work with support of the game or software to find a fix or return the computer under warranty for another. Prior to returning it you could run CrystalDiskInfo a free utility to check the HDD or SSD health to see if that is the cause of the issue.

I bricked my laptop about a month ago when installing an older game that required a reboot after install. Fortunately I had the system recovery media made up on a USB pendrive to boot off of that pendrive and install it back to factory clean, and then I avoided installing that game that was made for Windows 98/Me/XP on Windows 10 that caused a Windows 10 boot loop.

I downloaded PC BASIC and saved a file, but can't find it. I read some info elsewhere about need to change a config file to tell it where to STORE files, but it's a little beyond my comprehension. Isn't there a folder where the files are saved?Knowing what sort of file (Extension) you downloaded would help, PDF for instance, in the mean time just go to the search bar and type in PC Basic for a start see what that turns up? It's the PC Basic program file, and I know what folder THAT is in, but the Basic file I created got saved in some mystery folder, not the same one. HOWEVER, my cpu overheats and while monitoring using HWiNFO, I found that the cpu actually draws more power on the high performance mode. I was wondering if there is a WAY that I can set the max amount of power supplied to the cpu?

You can edit HTML in any text editor, and many word processors. There is a big list on Wikipedia, many are free. I don't trust 'X best [whatever]' click bait articles you see on the web. Often written in a hurry out of thin air by PEOPLE with no knowledge.

Nice link. Thanks. I notice it shows LibreOffice. I have used it to do some work on my web site. I use to use Crimson Editor which is free, but moved to Notepad ++. I was exposed to Crimson Editor through a College Book that was for HTML that came with a CD in the back of it that was bundled with Free and Trial-Ware. Another useful software that fell off the web is Mapedit to which it has become ABANDONED but is still Trial-ware if you find it. It would allow you to take a HTML document and draw a box around images on the page and it would allow you to map out hyperlink click areas over images and save the changes to the HTML file that your working in. It was made by boutell and it appears that they LOST their domain because its redirecting me to a different website when going to their site. Mapedit still works on Windows 7 but havent tried it on Windows 10 yet. Its on my 80GB Maxtor external hard drive from like 2005 which has all sorts of STUFF that is now a needle in hay stack on the web to find as stuff becomes abandonware, outdated, and discontinued as its no longer hosted on the web etc.

Sometimes, my computer runs at 0.46 GHz instead of its usual 2.49-2.58 GHz. Initially, I got a can of COMPRESSED air and cleaned out dust while reapplying thermal paste. This SEEMED to work and my computer was running smoothly. HOWEVER this was a few YEARS ago.

Now, I ordered a better thermal paste and reapplied it, hoping it would solve my problems. However, nothing changed and it’s still running really slowly with the fan being very loud. When I check Task Manager, nothing is taking up a lot of CPU usage and I used RealTemp to check and see that everything is fine, around 40-50 degrees C. I also ran MalwareBytes to check but there were no viruses scanned. I am trying to see if Bitdefender might do a better job and catch something MalwareBytes had missed.

I was thinking that the computer is thinking it is overheating but it is actually not. Any advice is welcomed and appreciated, and I’ll be happy to provide more details. Thank you!

Hi, i am very BEGINNER in excel. I have a dedicated cell where randomly placing values by user to search results from a range. And I want to use another cell by using countif formula to see how MANY times the thing occurs within that range but my formula criteria is that randomly placing dedicated cell. I tried =COUNTIF(C4:J1215,"B2") but result is 0. What else should I do here to get the result?

It appears that you are placing the cell that you want the results of your search to appear in is PART of the range you are searching. The cell that results of the search appear in must be outside of the range of cells that are being searched. See the attached JPG File.
Cell A1 = the cell that user places random values to be searched
Cell B2 = The cell that contains the formula
Cells C4-J17 = Range of cells being searched

I copy a lot of text from the web every day and place it in Word. I generally use one Word folder for 6 months and then CREATE a new one because the last one loads too slow. Now, for some reason after starting a new Word folder, the page that I'm copying and pasting has been cut to about 50% after being PLACED in Word. I've played with the settings but am not getting anywhere. I use the Chrome browser with windows 10. I've tried googling and EVEN youtube to find how to reset the defaults thinking it might help but the feedback is USUALLY for Word 2016, not 2019.Copy and paste for any web page to MS Word may give some unwanted results.
I only used Notepad to do copy and paste.
An alternative is to use Word Pad.

I have MS Word on my system, but I often use other editors to suit a task.

If its just bypassing booting from the cd, and entering straight to your version of win, you'll have to change the boot order so it boots from cd FIRST. You'll need to change the boot order in your bios. If unsure there is a YouTube video for that, tons in fact. I've put a link below, hope that helps.

Meant to say once the boot order is fixed and you manage to boot from cd the vid Geek posted should be fine. so watch the change boot sequence one, then the vid from Geek and you should be up and running. Provided your SYSTEM supports 64 bit OS. Also as Patio said before doing anything do a back up of all your data.

reagentc /enable is only solution.... try few times... in safe mode works for sureNot sure what you are asking but if your Win install is having issues it is far too late to create a recovery drive...

Just built a new PC, trying to pair my Keychron K1 and Logitech Z337 speakers to it via bluetooth. For the life of me, i cannot get this to work.
I can confirm that it is NOT the devices themselves; both register and pair immediately to my phone (S10) and laptop (HP Elitebook).
I have tried removing any/all bluetooth devices and drivers, but windows automatically reinstalls them every time i reboot.
When i first set up the PC and got the keyboard, i was able to pair it. The computer had a whole host of other issues at the time though, all of which i cannot remember. I was also able to get the speakers somewhat briefly paired, when i turned off bluetooth on the laptop and phone - however, the speakers showed under OTHER DEVICES once paired, and i could not for the life of me get the computer to read them as a sound device/output to them. That time, i restarted, and was NEVER able to find the speakers again in the bluetooth search.
I guess i could have several bluetooth devices within close proximity to each other, not sure if this would affect it. I have a raspberryPi, the work laptop and my phone all within ~3 feet of each other.
I have tried reinstalling windows. I have tried formatting the M.2 and completely starting from scratch. Nothing is working.
Upon the latest FORMAT, when i booted up ArmoryCrate said i ALREADY had the latest version of the Intel Bluetooth drivers installed. How? Im GUESSING this might be done through the BIOS somehow?

Id really like to get this working as this was one of the main features for both building the new pc, and buying the PERIPHERALS that i did.

So yesterday I was playing League of Legends and everything was fine. At one moment the game started to lag. But the lag was like SPIKES. From 70 fps the picture freezes, but I hear the sound of the game. After that it started to spike with 5-10fps and my mouce was like stuck. I restarted the PC and it was ok.

Later I was watching netflix and it happened again, but at my whole windows. I was waiting 45-50 SECS till the PC accepter the ctrl+alt+del COMMAND.

After that I checked for viruses and malwhare with Malwharebytes and AVAST, nothing happened. I checked the performance at the GPU and CPU and it was something INTERESTING:
My GPU spikes from 0% to 100, then again 0-80; 0-60; 0- 90...
My CPU was the same. From 2,6Ghz it became 3,8Ghz and spikes just like the GPU.
I checked that when my PC was idle*

I an print from Print Preview.... but I GET the message "The page BORDERS of the section are outside the printable area of the page"
